About RWB Utilities - Our Story
RWB Utilities was founded in 2007 and has grown from a small regional contractor into a trusted provider of gas and water infrastructure services.
Our founder began working in the utilities industry more than 21 years ago, starting out as a labourer for several service providers in Yorkshire. That experience built the foundation for RWB’s practical, hands on approach and strong focus on safety and reliability.
After becoming a private limited company in 2008, RWB continued to grow to meet the rising demand for gas and water mains replacement, reinstatement, and new connection services. From a team of around ten in the early years, we now have over 65 operational staff working across multiple sites on our own projects and for leading utility partners such as Cadent, Sapphire, and Morrison Utilities.
Our modern fleet includes excavators, grab wagons, hot boxes, a Vac Ex machines, and a JCB 3CX. All equipment is maintained and serviced by qualified mechanics at our purpose-built facilities. This allows us to deliver work efficiently, safely and to a high standard every time.
